White looking nails? what's the cause? Help please.

What makes the nails look white to just before the tip of the nail? I

read yeast can make nails look white? Why? Nutritionist said it could

be circulation problem? Or is it a die off problem or yeast

overgrowth prob? Our regular pediatrician didn't seem to notice a

problem, but I am very observant of my child and I notice this comes

and goes. Can detoxing cause this? Nutritionist seems to think that

Zinc will help to detox cadmium and that may be what is going on with

him. Help!!!!
