Guest guest
I've been treating my 16-month old son for yeast the past week, and I've got a few questions! Since starting him on the HNI trio he is actually waking up more during the night than he was before. I'm not sure whether this could be an adjustment period or die off? I decided to start out slowly treating for yeast because he has a few of the 'tell tale' signs of yeast I've been reading about - LOTS of night waking with laughing/wanting to play, red ring around his anus (for as long as I can remember), and more stimmy behaviours (rolling around on the floor, chewing, mouthing things, wanting to throw his head back). I have been giving him 1/2 Candidase and 1/2 No-Fenol on an empty stomach twice a day (with lots of probiotics). I also added GSE for a couple of days but it made his BM's VERY watery. However, I don't think the yeast is gone. I am seeing black specks in his BM's, and notice on the days I treat for yeast he is sleeping MUCH better. For example, I did not treat for yeast yesterday and he was up 3 hours last night wanting to play. My main question is: How will I know when the yeast is gone?? I had read that watery BM's were a sign, but I really think that was a reaction to the GSE...he still has a red ring around his anus and is not sleeping great and still stimmy. I'm a little frustrated because he's actually sleeping worse now than he did before I started treating yeast and the HNI trio. I'm hoping this is just adjustment/die off because I'm seeing lots of really good things with the enzymes/yeast protocol - eczema is gone, he is begging to eat table food and I couldn't get him to touch it before, he is so interactive and initiating games and communication with me, etc. Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks,

Guest guest
Have you heard of the morning spit test to check Candida? Our Naturopath taught me this- you spit in a glass of water first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything. If there is yeast then you will see what looks like long spider legs coming down from the spit after a few minutes. Watery and frequent bowel movements can be common after taking yeast killers as the body gets rid of the dead buggers. Marcie

Guest guest
> i have today received the houston trio enzymes ..please suggest the dosage i should start...which one should i start first To help control yeast, give one No-Fenol on an empty stomach. >> and how will i now that they are working...will i see a die off first or can be some positives....please help Some kids have die off symptoms, others don't. You might see an increase in behaviors for a few days or so, you might just see improvement. Dana
Guest guest
I read your post and tried it myself and had all kinds of lines coming out all over the water. I immediately took a no-fenol. For my son? He will not spit. It grosses him out to no end, so I guess I will give him a no-fenol just in the mornings and see if anything happens (except for hyperness that already happens with No-fenol, more if it's taken in the afternoon though) > > Have you heard of the morning spit test to check Candida?
