Guest guest
Christiane, We have been using MB12 shots for 2 years now. We don't leave home without them. <smile> Jamey has come a very long way and we attribute a great deal of his progress to the MB12 shots. I would heartily recommend them.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
We tried the spray with my aspie son who is very high functioning. It made him very hyper. We were never able to use it during the week and dropped it. He has done well overall and it could have played a role but some kids get hyper on the B vitamins. It is easy and one bottle is not so much. Worth a shot. > > Dear listfriends, > > > > Our Dan has been recommending MB12 (shots or nasal spray) for the last year > and so far there were other things that I thought were more important to > address frist (leaky gut, anti-virals, Zn/Cu imbalance). Guest guest
>>Did MB12 help calm > down stimming? Noticed hand waving more after starting MB12. For my son, the hand waving was eliminated with folic acid and an increased yeast protocol. >>Do you use any amino acids? Like GABA or L-Theanine? For my son, mB12 did not work on language until I gave it with whey protein powder [for aminos] and carnitine. Dana
Guest guest
Wanda, Dr. Neubrander's site is good for information on MB12 shots. (drneubrander.com) We definitely notice that Jamey regresses if we don't give him his shot. He is doing best on the every other day schedule. Good luck to you~

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Wanda, Jamey seems to lose cognitive abilities when he's missed a shot. We now get them compounded WITH folinic acid in the shot, so there are much less side effects, although I do believe it stirs up yeast.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
I was also going to add that I haven't noticed that the yeast is less with shots. And you can do oral, we're anti-needle here unless absolutely necessary, a number of kids can and do absorb mb12 orally, although some need direct intervention. Are your children milk intolerant - would they whey protein be a problem if they were? I have pea protein from kirkmans maybe that would help. Thanks for any advice. What is carnitine for and how is it dosed? My son is low in cystein. Would it help to supply that? Wanda
Guest guest
Wanda, We use yeast aid, candidase and GSE for yeast. He also gets the folinic (B vitamin) in the shot with MB12 as well as a B50 each morning.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
> can you use GSE and caprillic acid together? Probably, but it might cause too much die off. >> Are your children milk > intolerant Not any more. >> - would they whey protein be a problem if they were? Depends on which component/s of the milk they did not tolerate. The whey protein powder I use is cf [altho my kids don't need to be cf any more]. I > have pea protein from kirkmans maybe that would help. Is the protein already broken down? What are the specific aminos that it provides? >>What is carnitine for and how is it dosed? It is also an amino acid. I started with 250mg per day and increased to 500mg. >>My son is low in > cystein. Would it help to supply that? My son improved when I added a cysteine supplement. Now, the whey protein powder is sufficient for him. Dana
