Guest guest
Okay, I'm not too sharp on converting metric, but am I right that 20mg of biotin would be 2000 mcg?
Guest guest
I Make this 2mg, not 20mg. 1000mcg = 1gram. Joy
Guest guest
I think I realized this later--so Dana, to get 20 mg 3x day, that's a lot of biotin! Did you give other B vitamins with this to keep it all balanced? joymroscoe@... wrote: I Make this 2mg, not 20mg. 1000mcg = 1gram.

Did you give other B vitamins with this to keep it all balanced? I have 5mg capsules. Yes, it is a lot of biotin. My son is fully loaded with all B vitamins except biotin and mB12. I also give extra folic acid to combat problems with the mB12. And then he gets basically USRDA of the other Bs. Dana

I have 5mg capsules, and they are really tiny. I give my kids some supps as capsules, and others I open and mix into peanut butter and honey. The biotin is 4 caps opened and mixed into the peanut butter and honey with a few other things. It really does not add much volume to the mix, because the caps are so small. Guest guest
> > Can you please tell me the brand you use? Right now I am using Henry's brand, but the caps are a little larger than the previous brand, which I don't have any more so I don't remember the brand. It was not my usual brand, which is Natural Factors. I found it at my local health food store tho, so you can go to yours and browse if you want. > I've just been so frustrated with the " cure one thing, here's yeast again " cycle. Boy I am with you there! Dana
