Hi all,

We started Bio medical interventions for our 5yr old son almost 6mth s back.

After all the trial and errors with the various supplements, we were discouraged

seeing the negative effect the supplements were doing to the stomach. He used to

have a lot of gas and constipation. Last mth we bought 's book on Enzymes

and started the programm one more time and this time it was the Enzymes first.

We started with Houston enzmes the Zyme prime, 1/8th capsule, gradually

increasing it. Right now he is taking 1/2 capsule twice in the evening(I am not

able to give him for the lunch in the school). He is able to tolerate that. He

becomes very very active, sometimes hyper too, his speech and overall lots of

improvements we can see. Second stage we introduced one supplement in the

morning last week, it went well, no problems at all. Yesterday, I tried the AFP

enzyme, 1/8th with his evening meal i.e at 4pm, in 10 min, he was fast asleep, I

repeated the same dosage in the night, the same thing happened, he could not

wake up in the morning too, which was very unusual, because he is nver been

sleeping in the afternoon from last 2yrs, and he wakes up in the morning always

fresh.

I was expecing more hyperness and activity, it was just the opposite, is this

kind of effect natural, should I try something different? or Should I give more

time to the Zyme prime?

Sorry for the long mail, But I am so confused today, in the morning it looked

like he still needed some more sleep.

This is such a wonderful support group, lots of questions were answered by

just going through the previous mails.

Thanks

Alpa

P.s.: He is not on a GFCF diet

This might be that his body had always been very hyper in trying to

counteract the effects of the gluten/casein/soy in his system, and

once it did not have to work so hard, it overcompensated and he became

very sleepy. If this is the reason, things should level out in a week

or so.

It also might be that now the only foods that are affecting him are

the phenol foods, and while for most kids phenol intolerance causes

hyper, for most adults and some kids, phenol intolerance causes

fatigue. You can try adding No-Fenol enzyme, see if that helps
