Sorry for earlier mistaken transmission:

All,

Good day. Doris and I on behalf of Chidi Jnr would like to express our

gratitude to all who did write to the US Embassy on our behalf especially Hilah,

Kathleen, Amber, many other numerous good people too many to mention. May God in

is his almightyness reward your compassion and kindness.

We have not received any acknowledgement or response from the US embassy or

consulate till date. In the heat of all this effort I seem to have lost sight of

the fact that I have a valid US Visa....in order that Chidi Jnr does not miss

his best chance of recovery...I have applied for and my employers have kindly

granted me an unprecedented 2 wks compassionate leave of absence. I view of

this, I will be taking Chidi Jnr to Washington for the DAN conference and to

have his Doctors appointments. This is not our preferred option or outcome,

since Doris is more professional qualified as a Doctor and for the last 4 yrs

has not worked full time becos of looking after Chidi. Am not sure how well i

will do in these circumstances, but I trust that nothing beats the passion of a

father or mother.

I need further guidance and would like some help. During the conference I

would be staying in Lorton Virginia as follows:

Chidi Izuwah,

c/o Nnena Ahukannah,

9740 Plaskett Forest Lane,

VA 22079, Virginia

Tel - 703 339 1583

Pls does anyone know of good ABA day care providers in the Virgina

area...where I can keep Chidi under good paid for care in between the conference

and his medical appointments.

Dates care is needed for hime are as follows:

6th/7th/8th/9th/10th April....Am willing to discuss timing and payment

arrangements.

My preference for child care would locations close to our Virginia stay or the

DAN Spring Conference Venue - Hilton Washington, 1919 Connecticut Av, Washington

DC, DC 20009

Many thanks for all your usual kindness.

Kind Rgds,

Chidi Izuwah

All,

The subject am about to bring up is not really about enzymes but I sincerely

appreciate the help we have received on this site due to our location in

Nigeria. We have an urgent problem with rgds to seeking high quality biomedical

diagnoses for our son who is 4 and autistic in the United States and would

appreciate the any help from our American friends/colleagues on this group.

My wife Doris was at the US Consulate in Lagos Nigeria to seek a Visa to bring

our autistic son along to the DAN conference in Washington. Doris is planned to

attend the DAN conference and then seek assistance health wise for our son by

consulting Dr. Mumper in Virginia. My son Chidi Jnr is a US Citizen -

he was born while I was on assignment in the US with Shell Oil in Houston. The

US Consulate Officials refused my wife's request for a visa and have suggested

that we take my son (An American Citizen) to South Africa, France or anywhere

else to seek treatment for him. Grateful you assits us write/phone the

Embasy/Consulate or your Senator/House of Rep member to help us fight this

unfortunate situation as my hope is the most people in the world world want to

help a family seeking answers for their Child's autism. Contacts for the US

Embassy/Consulate in Nigeria are provided below.
