Guest guest
I am trying to catch up on posts, but since the thing, I can't get them all. Welcome to all the new members. I know you will find great support here. I hope I will get to know all of you. I just started a part time job. (just what I need with 5 kids :0) I am working 3 hours a day with a behavior disordered 17 year old trying to get him the skills to return to school. (really more of a favor for my husband) Anyway, with that, and all my other stuff, I haven't had time to even get on-line. I hope as things level out, and I get used to all this, it will be easier.(HAHAHA) Sam is doing great in his band. He wears is 23 hours a day and I think he likes it. He acts like it tickles when we put it back on. (giggles...its cute) As far as going out, the looks don't bother me too much. I tend to get that because people have always asked me if the kids are all mine anyway (how they could not, they look alike) I think it bugs me more when people ask about the hockey helmet like I would be so vain as to put a baby in a helmet because I was a sports fan. (I know at least they don't first think he is autisitic and bangs his head)...that is their next question lol. OH... United health care covered Sams band 100% YEAH!!! I thought I might ask to see the letter of med. necessity and show you. (we don't go back for 2 months) I got pictures of his band I will try to post this weekend. My hubby took them to work. (I didn't have to go today because school was called due to ice) My husband is a principal and has to go in anyway. (very wierd working " for " him...not really but he is there and I see him all the time) Sorry this is sooooo long, I will talk to all of you. Sorry for the lapse in posting and reading. Love, and Sam banded 1/16/01 born 4/11/
Guest guest
: I am so glad that Sam is doing so well with his band. I have been thinking about him and hoping everything is going well. Sounds like you are busy....Probably don't have alot of free time huh? Hannah is getting her band Feb.7th. She did pretty well with the casting (glad that is over). I will keep you informed. YIPPIE! I am so glad for Sam. Stacey > I am trying to catch up on posts, but since the thing, I can't > get them all. Welcome to all the new members. I know you will find > great support here. Guest guest
-- Sorry this is about an old post--we moved and I am just now catching up on all the posts while I my computer was out of commission (and I was too busy unpacking boxes!) HOW did you get United to pay for the band?? I am still struggling with them and am working on my second appeal. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me directly at j.mathis4@.... Thanks. I think your stories about your 5 boys are hysterical--I envy your patience (I know you must have it with 5 kids!) We are about 2 weeks from the end of Chandler's band--and tonight when I washed her hair, I finally decided her ears were definitely better, and now I am at peace with " fixing " her head--and know now that I can quit obsessing about her ears and the flat spot. Yea!! Now maybe I can focus my energy somewhere else. . . Hope you can help with the insurance thing. (mom to Chandler--soon to be out of her band!) , TX fyveboyz@... wrote: > I am trying to catch up on posts, but since the thing, I can't > get them all. Welcome to all the new members.
