Guest guest
Hi all. I have not been around in a long while and it seems we have hit another plateau in Ivy's treatment. A few questions to you experts that I have: 1)Has anyone here ever tried ThreeLac for yeast treatment, and if so, did you have more success with it vs. other yeast treatments? I am considering this for my 4 yo ASD dd and for myself. 2) Has anyone, after a time, been able to eliminate using Zyme Prime? We recenty ran out of it and it was backordered and I just thought I would let her go and see how she did without it since we have been using it for exactly one year this month!!! After 2 weeks of no Zyme Prime she became very sluggish and extremely whiney and tired in the evenings. She refused to eat dinner and went to bed with any empty stomach every night for two weeks. So, I have placed her back on it as of Monday this week and the whining has all but stopped and her appetite has picked right up too. So, I guess we will have to stick to this for awhile longer. We can NEVER run out of AFP Pep again, but I was wondering if any of you have ever been able to let the ZP go? If so, after how long of using it? 3) Kinda OT, but we FINALLY got her potty trained about 2 mths ago and she is doing great about that, I posted here many times with my frustration on her not being trained yet at 4!! So, I wanted to let you know we finally mastered it. So, now that we have the ability to collect a urine sample, I am thinking chelation is our next step. Do you all think that chelation will allow the other treatments such as the enzymes and yeast killers to work more efficiently? Do the kids experience any great discomfort while doing chelation? Just curious...will the yeast/bacteria problem go away after chelation or just maintain themselves? 4) We have been using Transfer Factor for a year. When we first placed her on it, her vocabulary exploded and then after awhile it leveled out. Then we upped her to the full dose about 2 mths ago and we have had another language explosion, imaginary play, making up songs, helping with houehold chores....just amazing things! Does anyone know the " whys " behind the Transfer Factor? And again, will this be something that we have to give her forever? Thanks for reading and sorry I wrote a book. I just haven't been here in awhile and needed to ask so many things!!! I hope some of the ppl that used to be here are still hanging around! , Dana, Mandi, Eileen?? Anyone?
