Guest guest
from http://www.tacanow.com/treatment_considerations.htm If for any reason, there isn't enough bile and lipase (a pancreatic enzyme), then the absorption of fat and fat-soluable vitamins is impaired. ------For about 3 weeks now I've been taking supplements of lipase and bile, both of which digest fat. I have an h. pylori problem and I think the combination of lipase and bile have caused me to put on weight. Has anyone else noticed this with themselves or their child? Also I drink green tea which is known to inhibit the activity of lipase which is why people lose weight when drinking lots of green tea. Would this conflict or negate the activity of the lipase supplements as well? At most I drink a glass or 2 of green tea per day and sometimes I don't have any. Could anyone help shed some light on this?
