Dr.Megson. I contacted her office today for an

appointment. Can anyone tell me what to expect on the

first vist to Dr. Megson? I also want to know what

affects you guys have seen with your kids on the

enzymes. My son has been given a soft diagnosis of

PDD-NOS which means it is not official but they see

tendencies?

appointment on Friday but I am full steam ahed to

recovery now.

It's best to have copies of all labs and diagnosis in hand when you arrive,

along with your summary of what has transpired. She'll pick your brain a good

deal when it comes to family history of illness, and she's very receptive to

your observations. So, while you might not have the medical terminology, and you

may be jumping to the wrong conclusions about diagnosis, you give her the black

and white with regards to symptoms and exposures and behaviors, combined with

the labs and pediatricians' reports, she'll do her best in putting together the

pieces of your child's biomedical puzzle. She's the smartest I've come across so

far, and that's saying a good deal, as we've been all over the country and back,

literally. However, I always keep in mind something that a listmate use to

write, " Doctors are not your friends, do not treat them as such " , anyone recall

who I'm talking about? Sometimes I miss his analysis. Anyway, good luck.
