Guest guest
I want to thank you all that posted to my question about being new to all this and overwhelmed with what to do. Thank you to the person who sent me the link to the Defeat Autism Now page which led me into researching more about chelation. We have a unique situation in that we are military stationed in Germany. The military doctors I have dealt with since Mac's diagnosis (probable PDD) are the more wait and see type. When I asked whether starting the GFCF diet would be good for Mac I was told - it seems to help some people for whatever reason - try it if you think it will help. I'm just so tired of waiting and seeing. Mac is almost 5, completely nonverbal, and making very little progress cognitively. We are planning a 1 month trip to the States in a few months and I found a DAN doctor online within an hour of my hometown. I'm in the process of seeing if we can get in to see her while we are there. My question is this - what can I be doing in the meantime to help Mac? I have Zyme Prime and Peptizyde on order. From a few posts that I have read (high pitched screaming, red ears) I think he may also have a yeast problem. I would sure appreciate any advice anyone can offer. Thanks in advance,
