Guest guest
Hi: Does anyone know of a supplement that might help decrease constant self-talk? My son is 10 and constantly talks to himself. Could it be a deficiency of some sort? Any advice would be extremely appreciated. Sharon
Guest guest
---For me self talk is always a sign of a bacteria problem. The worse my bacteria is, the more I talk and stim. Guest guest
I don't know but my son who is 15 does this constantly. I say " What? " He says " I wasn't talking to you, I was just talking to myself. " I always just thought he was thinking outloud. He can't whisper so maybe he can't think quietly either. > > > > Hi: > > Does anyone know of a supplement that might help decrease constant > self-talk? My son is 10 and constantly talks to himself. It was somewhat helped by mB12 and fish oil, but the folic acid was key. Dana
Guest guest
Where can I get the folic acid. Scripting and self-talk are really big for my son as well as screaming out loud and shouting self-talk out loud when he is frustrated. > > Does anyone know of a supplement that might help decrease constant > > self-talk? Guest guest
Hi Dana! How much folic acid do you give an adult...my adult son does this all the time...sometimes I think he prefers his own self talk to normal. He is taking folic....3 800 pills aday...is that enough...what are the limits for folic acid? Bacteria is an interesting idea....he's been taking yeast killers...maybe too much.... Thanks for the ideas Ronni > > > Does anyone know of a supplement that might help decrease constant > > self-talk? My son is 10 and constantly talks to himself. Guest guest
When my son's is out of control - 18 hours a day from 6am until midnight - it's bacterial. (yeah haleh for helping me figure that out after years of losing my mind.) I used cipro for 5 days, and it was gone. Now it is down to manageable so I am going to add folic acid, and report back. I started with 200mcg per day and worked up. For my #2, the highest daily dose he was ever on was 15 capsules 800mcg each [5 caps 3x per day]. The dose you are giving seems okay tho. I found that fish oil and mB12 were also somewhat helpful for scripting and " self talk " , but the folic was key. Dana

Guest guest
At any health food store. Make sure to check the other ingredients, so you're not getting any fillers that you normally avoid (soy, wheat, etc.) My son does this from bacteria. Nonetheless, I'm going to try some folic acid myself and see if it makes any difference w/the antibiotics next time.
