Guest guest
Kendra, You are too funny! Really, how can you drive for 10 hours and not know the state you are in? And drive there repeatedly! I guess to many people, North Carolina and South Carolina are the same. Somewhere down there in the south..... whatever! HAHA How's little Hanna and her hair swirl? You never noticed any regression with Hanna, did you? Caroline's been in her second band for about 3-1/2 weeks now and I see improvement --- I swear now she finally looks like she did when she outgrew the first band. Last Thursday I saw her head mold that was taken Dec. 15 (she outgrew the first band on Oct. 31) and I was shocked at how lopsided she still was. It looked some better than her original mold taken back in August, but it was still so messed up. I remember how pleased we were at the way her head looked when she outgrew the first band and how relieved I was that she was finished with treatment. But then a month later her head didn't look nearly as good. Of course we never got the exit cast so we will never know if she truly regressed but I think she did. If she did regress then it seems like she's in the minority; except for two others here no one else seems to think their baby's head has regressed. All I can hope for is that by the time Caroline gets this band off she will have a much harder head! Guest guest
Kendra, They really haven't given me a time frame this time -- because she is older it is harder to predict any growth spurts, I guess. I do know that this band seems to be a better fit on her flat side. She does have a lot more room in this one too, and they haven't had to shave off much yet. They did say she wouldn't outgrow it for atleast 4 months (eeek -- I didn't think it would take that long!) The " bulge " isn't nearly as bad as it was in December. And Caroline's hair swirl is looking better these days too. It doesn't emphasize the flatness nearly as bad as it once did. Maybe one day we'll get this kid fixed!! I guess any kid's hair will go thru a funny spurt! ) I'm glad to hear that Caroline's head is doing so much better now! Yay! Tell her to keep up the good work! How much longer?
