We are supposed to have a consultation soon for my son's plagio and I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me anything about some of the dr.'s they have seen. Guest guest Posted January 22, 2001 Report Share Posted January 22, 2001 Tina: I am not from the Tulsa area, I'm actually in Oklahoma City. I can tell you who to see in this area and, to my knowledge, the people here at University Hospital are the only ones in Oklahoma with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Plagiocephaly and Craniosynostosis. Dr. Francel is the neuro that I saw. He works with a Dr. Panchal who is a cranio-facial specialist. Barringer is the one who makes the helmet and also is making the Starband from what I last heard. Dr. Francel and Dr. Panchal work with a vision specialist and a developmental psychologist (I believe) in this area as well. They really have the total package and a great deal of experience in this area. Let me know if you need any phone numbers - I can help you out with that as well.
