...new mom out there needs help

I had an e-mail from a Mom who has a baby 9 1/2 months old with a

head shape she thinks is like Sam and Quinns. She went to the dr.

and Orthotist at CT and they say she will only get about 30%

correction. Did you hear anything like this. I know Quinn was much

younger, but I was wondering. We were told we may not get great

results, but they did point to specific places and told us where we

should see some correction (ie. the slope in the back/top and filling

out of the back/sides...fix the duck look )

I have not seen any posts by her, I looked in some of the arcives,

but I know she is looking at the sight and want to help her anyway I

can. He husband wants to turn down treatment, and I think she is

very unsure and stressed (I know we've all been there)

If anyone has any encouragement for her, I sure she would appreciate

it. I know it's hard when you have this specific head shape because

it seems no one knows what to do with you....

Her name is (I won't put her last name in case she doesn't want

to share that). She mentioned about columbia MO having a different

band that was not FDA approved yet. Does anyone know anything about

that that you could help her with?
