Hi Sue...

Thanks. We got a very quick referal to a Dr. Hoffman at Universit of

California San Francisco Hospital. He's a cranio specialist/plastic

surgeon. They seemed very interested in taking Geoffrey sooner rather

than later. I believe they moved other appointments to fit us in

because the Doctor believes in seeing plagio cases early. The nurse

says he can usually recomment treatment or therapy after the first

meeting... so hopefully our options will be narrowed down by Monday

afternoon.

The nurse had not heard of the DOC bands, but she wanted us to ask the

Doctor on Monday. He may turn out to be more of a helmet subscriber --

I don't know. We will know more about the severity or mildness of

Geoffrey's condition on Monday.

If we do have to travel to Burbank we have relatives in the LA Area we

can stay with over several days if necessary. I would never travel

back and forth from San Francisco on the same day. We are commited to

doing whatever necessary to solve this problem even if our insurance

never covers a dime... we will find a way.

Thanks for your encouragement, Sue. I'm hoping to download some

pictures of Geoffrey in the coming days for people to see.
