Guest guest
Madison has the same thing. Dr. D'Astous says it's nothing to worry about. He says some people are just born with it, but it no impact what-so-ever on development or anything like that. It's where her sternum is turned out instead of in. I have also asked a few other docs about it too, and I get the same response everytime. Hope this helps, or makes you feel better. I would be interested in knowing if you find out anything differently. Jen <noellesmommy@...> wrote: I noticed this hard round bump about the size of a dime on Ian's ribs right near the sternum. Any clues as to what this could be? Is it something that could be related to his scoliosis? A friend, who is a doctor, told me it sounded like a subluxated rib head, but I have no clue what that means and I hate to keep bugging her with questions. Just wondering if anyone here has had some experience with anything like this. Celebrate 's 10th Birthday! Guest guest
My soon to be 10 yr old son has a spot on his head that resembles thick cradle cap in a baby. Anyone know what it might be, what the cause could be and what to treat it with so it will go away? The barber noticed it the last time he got his haircut. And the school nurse thought it might be ringworm, but it's not. Any suggestions or advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rhonda
Guest guest
We haven't changed or added any supplements. I'm wondering if increasing his enzymes might help. Rhonda
Guest guest
My son was GFCF for almost a year, before we felt that with his improvements we could go back to a " mostly " regular diet with enzymes. So now he eats everything along with the enzymes. Thanks, Rhonda
Guest guest
For us, this thick scalp crud as well as sandpaper upper arm and back skin was related to EFA imbalance. Our daughter was very low in omega 6's. We use Eve Prim Oil applied topically on a continuing basis. If we miss a few days, the above begins to reappear. > > > > My soon to be 10 yr old son has a spot on his head that resembles > thick > > cradle cap in a baby. Guest guest
My son does take enzymes, digest gold by enzymedica, and he's been milk free for about a month (not caesin free). We actually increased his enzyme from 1 with meals and snacks to 2 in the past couple of weeks. His bumpy skin has lessened since going milk free but I think the scalp is worse. > I was also meaning to ask if your son is GFCF or does he take ezymes? My son's skin and scalp problems improved DRAMATICALLY after the first week! good luck! > > hanjkyla <kyleac@...> wrote: > > My soon to be 10 yr old son has a spot on his head that resembles > thick > > cradle cap in a baby.
