and Diane,

When we saw the Neuro today she very impressed with the DOC Band, she asked

me if she could have it after we get Sierra's new DOC Band. She told me of an

Orthotist who is trying to copy it, but just can't seem to get it right!!!

For all of us seeking treatment for our babies, be weary!! Although it may

look the same, many various copies of the band will not provide the same

thing we are all after. Now my thought is how many babies they took the

chance with to find out it didn't fit their needs?? Food for Thought only!! I

encourage everyone to carefully research the respected Bands being offered,

and please ask for case studies and pictures!!!!!!

Was it ?? I just want to thank you soooo much!!!!! We are

printing them out to take to the doctor with us just in case he needs a

little more convincing because of andy's age. Plus, it really gave me some

Hey, .. I'm having a hard time keeping everyone straight...But I've

impressed myself even on remembering names! ; ) How old is your baby? I'm

feeling a little depressed that the orthotist guy I just spoke with on the phone

has never banded a baby 18 months old. so I think that means the doctors I'm

going to have never prescribed a baby that old. so I am prepared to beg. diane

When we went to the dr. I asked him if they use a STAR band and he

said no they use their own. I asked him about a DOC

meaning " dynamic " he said they used to call their band a dynamic

orothotic cran...(whatever) but cant do that anymore because CT

copyrighted the name so changed theirs. I don't know if you have a

similar case.

help him. If it can't, I am going to try to get him to write me a

Yes, if they are off the CT sight, it will be the DOC band. I hope

mine works out.
