Picking up band on Thurs, any insights?

Hi All,

I just found out that Drew's DOC band will be ready tomorrow,

Thursday, so we will be going to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I'm

sure this has probably been asked before, so I apologize if this is

repetitious.

Does anyone have any insights on what to ask the technician, and what

to expect at this appointment. I was told we would need to stay in

the office for about 1 hr. to make sure there weren't any sensitive

spots on Drew's head from the band. Also, are there any supplies I

should get prior to getting the band (I'm going to pick up some

rubbing alcohol and I've already bought some Loreal Kids shampoo).

We are having Drew's band painted and it won't be ready until Friday,

so his first day in the band won't be until late Friday or Saturday.

Are there any signs we should look out for, that would signal the

band isn't fitting and that we should remove the band? I'm a little

worried because we're starting on the weekend and won't be able to

consult CT until Mon.

Finally, I had originally thought the band goes on for 23 hrs/day

from the start, but in reading through some previous messages, it

looks like you build up to that time. Can anyone provide a

recommended schedule or any guidance on how many hours/day to expect

wearing the band over the first week?
