Oh Selena - thank you for sharing this! My almost 5 year old is

still completely nonverbal. Not even mama. I am so desperate just

to hear what his voice sounds like . . . thank you for the hope you

gave me when I needed it!

Selena,

We are all so very happy for you!! I remember when first started speech

therapy 8 years ago, she asked me my goal as a mother. I told her, " I just want

to hear him say I love you, mom " and she said that is what every mom says!!

How wonderful for you and your son. I remember when my daughter did it at

5...I cried like a baby. I never get tired of hearing her say " I love you

too, mommy " and she just turned 17.
