Guest guest Posted January 2, 2001 Report Share Posted January 2, 2001 The star band is similar to DOC band, made by Orthomerica. We went to Hanger Orthotics in Lake Worth and Delray. My insurance would only cover part of the DOC band and we couldn't afford to pay the rest, so we chose the Starband. It seems to be working well. I saw immediate results, but we seem to have slowed down on the progress lately. We are going to see Dr. Cohen in Sunrise next week to see what she has to say, she hasn't seen him since he got his band. Do you see her too? We have been seeing Dr. Cohen at Sunrise since she was 3 monthsold. Her number is 954-746-1503. I feel she has helped us a lot with . I'd recommend giving her a try.
