Guest guest
The only research I can point you to is research conducted with the DOC band. Growth restrictions was one of the questions raised by the FDA. The study conducted in response to those concern was published in Pediatric Neurosurgery. To summarize: the DOC band reduced cranial asymmetry without restricting cranial growth (length, width or circumference). , KM, Littlefield, TR, Pomatto, JK, Manwaring, KH, and Beals, SP (1999) Cranial growth unrestricted during treatment of deformational plagiocephaly [article]. I have heard this before. I just wish some professional would say why there would be such problems. Belinda(Indiana)
