Guest guest Posted January 4, 2001 Report Share Posted January 4, 2001 We received a phone call from our Ins comp today saying that Abigail's starband was finally approved. What a wonderful surprise it was to hear. I was totally set to go to the 2nd Appeal where I was to appear in person. What we think finally did the trick was sent pictures to the Medical Director. We sent some via snail mail and also Emailed some. We have yet to hear exactly how much they will pay but any amount is more than zero!!This made for a much better day since we recently had two deaths in our family. I almost cried when I heard the girl tell me it was finally approved. Goodluck to all of you out there fighting with your insurance company, just DON'T give up. As my husband said get their fax number and just keep faxing Medical Journal articles, newspaper articles, and any piece of info you can find.
