Guest guest
Hi , I wanted to answer your question--I was asking about which supplements people found most helpful. She is currently on zinc, Zyme-Prime enzyme, calcium (hydroxyapatite form), lots of magnesium glycinate, couldn't tolerate citrate, melatonin, and haven't been able to get her on a multi--she's very sensitive. My daughter is struggling with constipation--on high doses of magnesium already, vitamin C made her reflux, sleep problems, big belly, squirming in her car seat, mouthing. Thanks, Digest Number 4464
Guest guest
The magnesium glycinate may not help much with the constipation. I had to switch to a citrate for this issue. What form of C were you using? I'm asking because most vitamin C is made from corn and this would have caused the sleep problems, hyper for my child because she is sensitive to corn. You can try Twin Labs Allergy C which is corn free and made from sego palm. This has worked much better for us and the C does help with the constipation. I have also noticed that Zyme Prime enzyme tends to firm stools for us. I really had to add a lot more vitamin C and magnesium after adding ZP just to keep her from getting backed up. Also, as for the multi's I do know that B vitamins can cause phenol issues. You may want to try giving a small amount of the multi with the no-fenol enzyme and see if it is better tolerated that way. I hope this helps a little. Sheresa > > Hi , > > I wanted to answer your question--I was asking about which supplements people found most helpful. Guest guest
Sago palm, really? That would scare me to death. No real reason, just that my daughter is a vet and one single sago palm fruit is enough to kill a dog, they go into liver failure. But I am sure the vitamin C is extremely purified. Peace, Kathy E. Chocolate will also kill a dog, or at least make him really really really sick. You might ask your daughter if it is just because of a dog's reaction to sago palm that might be different than a human, or if it is something that will similarly affect a human.
