Guest guest
-- As you know, 8 months is definitely not too old! Maybe for the passive helmet this guy can write a Rx for, but not for a DOC Band or other dynamic device (Starband). You are the mom! You are the expert on your son and his best advocate, certainly not this doctor. Best to you! Joan > We went to Children's Hosp. today and saw one of the " countries > finest neurosurgeons " . Guest guest
, I have defiantly walked a mile in your shoes. I am absolutely heartbroken that mothers have to go through this type of ignorance to seek medical attention for their children. You are doing the right thing by seeing a Neurologist the CT site recommended. Call tomorrow, and set up an appt. The hard part will be trying to get in as soon as possible. When I tried I couldn't get an appt. no sooner then 4 weeks. After stating my situation, and time was of essence I found that the Neurologist work in clinics outside of the hospital, and was able to set up an appt. within 2 weeks time. You are the only person that knows what is right by your child. Keep your faith, and know it is not to late. Try to send the goofball literature to educate him, for the next unfortunate soul that walks through his doors. There is nothing wrong with being a proactive parent. Stay Strong!!
