A side story about my wife...

A side note -- my wife was born, and grew up, slightly ding-toed (her

hips are turned in.) When she was a kid her doctor told her she would

" grow out of that. " Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Yeah.. Well she never did grow out of it. And as she got older and

taller (she's 5'10 " ), it became more pronounced... she is ding-toed to

this day and went through horrible psychological sadness as a child and

through teenage years because she believed nobody wanted to date her.

Everyone noticed it and people laughed at her.

To this day her friends say " , I can always pick you out of a

crowd because of the way you walk. " Nice way to be recognized, eh?

Gee, thanks.

Yeah, some day I want Geoffrey's friends to say " I can recognize

Geoffrey because of his mis-shaped head. " Screw that. I also say go

with your gut and be proactive. The more I read about this the more I

see what an epidemic it is all over the world, not just the US. I'm

warning every new parent I see to look out for this and try to prevent

it from birth. We're going to try the repositioning for a couple

weeks... and then go with treatment if nothing gets better.
