klebsiella oxytoca--how to treat naturally?

Just had a DDI CDSA done on my NT 2 1/2 yr old because he has had

ongoing diarrhea for such a long time. Pediatrician blew me off with

the " toddler diarrhea " line, but I wasn't satisfied. I was glad to see

that his beneficial flora was high, but under dysbiotic flora he had

klebsiella oxytoca 3+. As far as natural agents go, the only one he

was sensitive to was caprylic (resistant to uva, oregano, goldenseal,

and others). He will not take a capsule, and I find that the powder

from a caprylic capsule just clumps in drinks and sticks to the cup,

plus it is so bitter. Any other suggestions?

He also had Candida lusitaniae 3+, which we are attempting to treat

with nystatin. I say attempt, because the liquid is so bitter tasting

and I am having a hard time getting it in him on a regular basis.

We have be rotating various probiotics during this time, and I try to

get a good multi vitamin in him, but that's about it so far. If anyone

has any other advice, I'd love to hear it.

Thank you,

Kim
