Guest guest
Also, I thought the ear on the flat in the back side could move up and forward so I thought ear displacement was a sign of pp not cs? Is this right? Liz To my understanding, TYPICALLY, with plagio, the ear is pushed forward on the flattened side. With cranio (lambdoid), the ear is TYPICALLY pulled down and back. BUT, every baby is different and their heads will do whatever they want! ) Kendra JoanI also have the same experience with what appears to be regression. I'm not so sure that its just the fact that the pressure has been released and now we really are seeing how much change occured.Liz and Lil If you want a band, go for it. No one can tell you its too mild, but I will say that when we were getting the same crap I asked at Chicago ct if Lillian's was the mildest case they had ever treated and they said no and then told me that they wouldn't have made the band if it was too mild, but really what is TOO mild? Also, I thought the ear on the flat in the back side could move up and forward so I thought ear displacement was a sign of pp not cs? Is this right?Liz and Lillian

Guest guest
Kendra, THANK YOU! You are so right they are just typical descriptions for the different conditions. Sam is proof of that. We have a ct scan to prove his sutures are open and his left ear IS lower than the other. I should have stated that in my reply. I don't ever want to freak anyone out. This whole thing is stressful enough, I would hate to cause anyone any extra stress. Thanks again.
