Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I'm fairly new to the group and have a question. We have a 2 1/2 yr old boy with undiagnosed autism and severe gut issues. He tested negative for metabolic disorders, negative for gluten and casein antibodies, and negative for milk, wheat, soy, and egg. Why then, does he suffer with painful gas, severe constipation, eczema on face, and a sore, red anus? He's been on the gf/cf diet for 5 months and has done better, but has occasional flare-ups. We give him Peptizide, Zyme Prime, calcium, magnesium, melatonin and B-12. This afternoon he was chewing on a CD and about a 1/2 hour later his cheeks turned bright red, he started hitting himself, tried to bite anyone who came near him, etc. What kind of metal is on a CD? Also, how do you know if he has yeast overgrowth in his gut or just bad bacteria? Any advice out there is SO appreciated. I hate to see him suffer, especially when he can't tell me what is wrong. Guest guest
I did some research on this for you and this is what I found: > There are four metals that are inert to polycarbonate and > sufficiently reflective to be used as a reflective layer. He said they were made of plastic, he does not believe there is metal in them. This is *if* you are referencing a typical music or similar CD. Plastics are nasty tho, for some kids even worse than metals. Dana
