Guest guest
Hi- I am VERY new to this whole world. Over the last few months my 8 year old has started taking AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime, UltraFlora DF, and Kirkmans Super NuThera (on the recommendations of another AS Mom). We had our 1st appointment with a DAN doctor and should have test results within a couple of days. Here's the problem: at the appointment, our DAN doctor mentioned he must have quite a bit of yeast because his tongue had white " fur " on it. This morning, my son said that his tongue looked weird and was black. All the white " fur " had turned black. He was able to brush most of it away with his toothbrush. I assume this is a good thing and that the yeast is dieing off, is that correct?? Just a bit of background, he was diagnosed only this May with Aspergers & ADHD. We have spent the last 8 years fighting off pneumonias, asthma, acid reflux, migraine headaches and chronic pain. It was only after a trip to the Mayo Clinic in search of answers to all the physical ailments, did we get the diagnosis of Aspergers. From that a friend of a friend who has a child with Aspergers, turned us on to the fact that these are all related. I truly believe that the Enzymes and Probiotics have saved his life. He is now this wonderful, fun little man that is pain-free with the exception of an occasional light headache. Thank you so much for this website and for the support of all the other parents out there in this daily struggle!

Guest guest
> > Bee, Awake up this morning with my tongue black. Is it normal? I've started five days ago to take nystatin which I think might be the reason. I feel not to bad actually with it an the die off is weaker and weaker But the black tongue looks odd:( ==>Pedro, some candida sufferers do get black tongue but it is nothing to be overly concerned about, even though it does look very odd! Brush your tongue with baking soda and continue on the program. You can also do things listed in the Thrush article. It won't last. The best, Bee
