That sounds really lovely, something so many take for granted feels like a

million dollars doesn't it?

Am hoping to start antivirals with our son in Feb, so this sounds marvellous

to me.

Allergy A? Is Virastop in pill form or drops? Just curious...

Yeah Amy! I'm so happy for you and your family! I so look forward to

the day that Cody will be able to speak and to call me anything would

be tremendous! The more we try antiyeast/viral, supplements and

enzymes, the more we see him emerge and connect with us and that alone

is worth the effort of it all.

I recently added Kirkman's B6/Magnesium tablet (1/4 tablet to start)

to his " diet " and he's now able to imitate more - for instance he

growled when I growled for the tiger, and he slapped his hands on the

floor when I slapped my hands on the floor playing with him. I can't

wait to see what happens when he gets a full dose!

Yep, anti-virals and vitamin C have done more for my son's language

than even the mB12. Great stuff!

I just wanted to say how awesome that is. Thanks so much for sharing

it!

I know that my 4 yo dd just recently spontaneously told me, " I love

you mama " . I cried on the spot. It was like the most precious thing I

think I've ever heard!

We had a language explosion with Transfer Factor. It works on the

immune system and she has only had 1 cold in the past year which is an

added benefit because she is sensitive to all the OTC cold meds out

there. I am def. interested in this viralstop...can you give me any

info on it? TIA!

Amy ... wow! You've waited a long time to hear that! I can't wait

until you hear mommy! I'll never forget the day my son looked me

straight in the eyes and talked. I still pinch myself when he keeps

eye contact when he's thinking ...

Simple joys - I didn't know what I was missing till I got it! I

couldn't even hear what he was saying, I kept thinking OMG, he's

looking into my eyes!

It's amazing ... good for you and noah ... how long has he been

getting biomedical help?

My daughter is not entirely off the spectrum, and at one point she

was mortified to realize that although my name was actually " Amy, "

she'd been calling me " Mommy. " To her this seemed like calling a

person by their title, eg " cleaning lady " or " postal carrier "

instead of using the person's name. So she's been calling me Amy

ever since, and he picked it up from her.

He started at age 2y 11m. He's 7 1/2 now, so about 4 1/2 years. At

the time he started, he was basically nonfunctional. The only

things he did were smear feces, draw on the walls, turn on and off

lights, and nurse incessantly. He was 100% nonverbal except for one

18-hour-a-day verbal stim, and his social/communication was less

than 0-3 mos. (I had just had my daughter, and this was accurate.)

He'd had a major regression from the very little development had did

have after his MMR, so I assume the viral problems took the rest of

him, from what the mercury hadn't already taken.

About the antivirals, we did the Megson high dose vitamin A protocol

(copied from the link on Dana's website), which definitely helped,

but starting Virastop this summer was amazing.

With his supplements and especially with anything antiviral I have

found the " low and slow " enzyme principle actually works better for

him. If he sticks to 2-3 Virastop a day or uses it mainly when he

is getting viruses, he does great. If I increase it, don't take

breaks, or add a bunch of things to it, he doesn't tolerate it and

he regresses. He is currently taking some B's, A, Virastop,

Nystatin, GSE, OLE, and as soon as he's over his current bacteria he

will be trying B6/B12/folic acid - but not everything every day or

he does worse, and makes no progress whatsoever.

This sounds like my son at age 3-1/2, and he was also assessed as 0-3

months. He never had any development tho.

Try vitamin C. My son does very well with anti-virals, but I

increased his vitamin C yesterday to 18 grams per day, and he started

talking in full sentences and did all his chores without being asked.

[i gave my other kids vitamin C also LOL]

That is sooooooo great, Amy!!!! What a wonderful Christmas present for

your whole family. Hopefully his language will grow more and more!
