Guest guest
Laurie: Torticollis is when there is a tight muscle in the neck, causing the head to tilt to one side and lack range of motion. The condition can be very mild, severe, or anywhere in between. Physio therapy is usually required to stretch out the muscle. Torticollis often goes hand in hand with plagio. With the muscles pulling the head to one side, a flat spot often results on the side where the child constantly lays. If you think your baby may have this, it is important to seek out physio. Torticollis can cause developmental delays if left untreated. Check out the torticolliskids eGroup. Kendra lgins1997@... wrote: was never diagnosed with torticollis, just plagio. What exactly is torticollis and what do you look for? Laurie
