One of them had a scope about 6 months ago which showed some gastritis and inflammation in other areas. At that point we had already been gfcf for over six months. I started Enzymedica V-gest for the low proteases and both boys had very loose stools for two weeks or more. It was so bad one lost two pounds. They cleared up within days of stopping the enzyme. I am a little surprised because while they both have PDD only one seems to have severe gut issues. They are very different boys so I am surprised both reacted poorly.
