Guest guest
: I was just looking at Sam's pix, but it's hard to tell anything for certain with the angles you have posted. Is it possible for you to post a photo from right over the top? This is the best angle to see from. If you could get him in the tub with his hair soaked right to his head, that would be even better (so his hair isn't obstructing the view!) I know it's a pain unless you have a digital camera, sorry! I sent her alot of questions and I hope she responds before the 3rd. I know it is really childish of me, but I want to find out what this guy is like before I go to him for the first time. Also, if anyone has a chance would you mind looking at Sams pics in the file section and tell me if they think he would be a good candidate for a helmet or band. I'm not totally crazy about this am I. I guess I am just getting scared about everything. I think of all the things the dr. might say, and then what I will say back. I think if We didn't start this A month ago, I wouldn't be so NUTS :0) (not sooo nuts anyway :0) ) Christmas Eve, when my family all came over (I have 6 brothers and sisters plus all their kids...yes it is loud and crazy...but fun) no one would even comment on Sam's head. Aferwards they all said, I couldn't see anything, he just has a big head. I don't know what they expected. Now I don't know.....maybe I am nuts) Any input would be appreciated. Thanks again, Sam's MOM
Guest guest
I can tell you that I understand exactly how you feel. Everyone tells me that there is nothing wrong with 's head. All of my inlaws and family say he looks just fine and that I am looking too close. My mom and dad are very supportive and notice everything, but it even took my husband time to really see the problems. I can be very frustrating and upsetting to second guess yourself, stick to your guns and go with your instinct. Remember that after he gets the band/helmet it is you that has to make sure he wears it. It is easy to think, oh everyone thinks I am nuts, so I'll just let him wear it a little while, but it only works if worn 23 hours a day. You just got to be strong and committed. Think of Sam at 8, 12, 15 etc as he meets other boys and girls and they make fun of him or stare because of the shape of his head. That will make you want to be strong. You can do it and Sam will always be greatful for your committment. & 6/26/00, banded 12/22/
