Guest guest
I have been following the conversation on Zoloft and just wanted to chime in again today. Yes, anti-depressants, such as Zoloft, has " possible side-effects " as " suicidal tendencies " . I'm not sure why that is, since you want the OPPOSITE while taking an anti-depressant. My 10 year old son is on Prozac as well as Enzymes, Mult-vitamins, Brainium DHA and now Ritalin. They all have different purposes and work independently as well as collectively for all of his challenges (FASD, ADHD, Aspergers Tendencies, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Pervasive Developmental Disorder - NOS) I myself am on Zoloft, Wellbutrin and Birth Control to control my depression/anxiety/PMDD (very severe PMS). This combination is working well for me. Zoloft is a Serotine Reuptake medication (as is Prozac I believe) which is important in some situations. Zoloft's patent timing is up, but noone has come out with a generic YET, so it's still expensive, and may be why there are so many samples and " desk accessories " out at the doctor's office. SOOO, ALL I'M SAYING IS THERE ARE ALOT OF CHOICES OUT THERE TO EXPLORE.
