HOW LONG BEFORE YOU SEE CHANGES?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this group.

I have an 8 year daughter on the Spectrum.

Of couse, we all know that no 2 kids on the spectrum are exactly alike, although

they

share many symptoms.

Having said that, I just started (about 2 weeks) the Houston Enzymes.

BOTH No Fenol and AFP chewables.

We don't have her on a rigid GF/CF diet.

But I've started buying (FINALLY FOUND A GOOD TASTING PASTA BRAND!!!) GC/CF

pasta.

And she not really into anything with milk like yogurt or cheeses.

But she likes pizza and ice cream. BUT we found a nice Soy ice cream that she

loves.

ANYWAY, we give her the enzymes with fruits and anything that has casein when

she's

eating out.

Is there a waiting time to see results...even if those of you who are on a GC/CF

diet AND

the enzymes?

Anyone doing just the enzymes?

If there is waiting period to see behaviors changing....how long?

She sleeps through the night (always has)...has bowel movements (BM) every 2

days...trying to get that regulated with Probiotics and colostrum. But doesn't

have

problems with she does have BM.

She's hyper, and focus and attention are an issue but she is capable of

self-regulating

(couple of jumps and refocuses) when sitting down for academics.

But then she'll be hyper/calm for a few days on and off.

And they'll be no changes in her diet.

Any ideas? Would love some answer to the Enzyme questions?

Thanks in advance.

This sounds to me like she is eating something not tolerated, and not

eating it every day. Some kids need foods removed, even with enzymes.

You are not giving Zyme Prime, which is more of an all-purpose enzyme

and addresses more foods. You might want to add that, see if it helps.
