Guest guest
I know that this has probably been asked to death, but I hope you don't mind giving this advice once again. My 5 yr old asd son, has been on prescription anti-fungals- he started with 6 weeks of Nystatin, went to 2 weeks of Diflucan, and is currently on about his second week of Sporonax. The night before last, he had horrible diareah. The next day it was gone, but it left his poor bum red, swollen, and bleeding in spots. He spreads his legs as far apart as he can, and walks. I have a really hard time wiping it and putting cream on. I have gotten some penaton, and zinc diaper rash cream on, but this rash goes beyond those creams- they don't touch the awful rash. I'm sure it's from yeast, because he's never had a diaper rash in his life, not even as a baby. Any advice on something to put on it, and why it flared up like that? Thanks. Amber.
