Hi everyone,

I am slightly confused with all of the abbreviations. Would someone

enlighten me as to what they are and what they mean? I can't remember

all of the abbreviations, but a few of them are:

ALA

OLE

GSE

Thanks,

ALA is Alpha Lipoic Acid.... It's a natural supplement that has

important antioxident properties. It is used as a chelator, trapping

metals (primarily mercury and arsnic) in the blood. It is able to

cross the blood brain barrier. It is commonly used in combination

with DMSA (Dimercaptosuccinic Acid).

It is not used with DMPS (2,3-dimercapto-1-propanesulfonic acid

sodium) until the mercury is cleared from the neck down. It is then

added to go after what mercury is in the brain.
