Thoughts on the sugar? I'm mixing them in watered down pear juice, which I know has sugar too. Enzyme Chocolate Hi, I just read one mom mixes up each enzyme in chocolate seperately, I have been mixing all three houstons together in the chocolate. Is that ok too? I just realized how horrible that would be if they were cancelling each other out or something scientific I can't grasp. Will someone tell me if its counter productive to mix them all together. The only reason to do it separately is that you can give lets say only No-Fenol when he is having a fruit snack and not all three of the enzymes, but if you give all three with everything, there are no negative effect. I give my son all three with all foods. Now I get the chewables and code them with chocolate and the amount of sugar then is very little. This way my son loves the enzymes and gobbles them down as soon as given and this has been much more effective for us than enzymes with juice as he may take hours to drink the juice. Also easy to send to school if needed. I give him chocolate covered chewable enzymes with all meals and then the appropriate enzyme with all snacks. He is on elimination diet as well but his lab test showed poor digestion of carbs and protein and sensitivity to some veggies and all nuts. I have to be safer than sorry and am really diligent about his enzyme intake with any substantial eating. Though his immune is attacking his gut, and poop is consistently mushy, his lab result showed no inflammation of gut and good absorption of nutrients.
