Guest guest
Hi , I'm not sure if you got a response on this. I haven't used it yet (my ultra-taste-sensitive son will the test). I ordered it yesterday. It looks like there are 2 products.both by Metagenetics. Zinc Tally identifies a deficiency if there is a taste or not, and can also be given as a supplement. Then there is Zinc Drink (same mfg) that is supposed to be tasteless. The other Mom stated that you are able to taste Zinc Drink if you have sufficient levels. RE: Re: Tasteless Liquid Zinc? What Liquid Zinc are you using that is tasteless? Hi Christy Metagenics Zinc (and indeed any no-added-flavor zinc) is tasteless IF you're deficient. Try it on yourself - put 1 ml of Metagenics liquid zinc in 100 ml of water and swill in your mouth for 10 seconds or so. If it tastes foul - you're not deficient. If you can't taste anything - you're deficient and keep taking it every day 'til you can taste it! My son took Pfeiffer protocol doses of zinc for a week or so, and then started to refuse it saying " Yucky " - coincidentally hair and blood samples were taken at that " yucky " time. The hair test (shows body levels from weeks/months earlier) showed very low zinc, whilst the blood test (shows current levels) were high. So that proved it for me. Good luck :-) _____
