Hi Troops!

It is almost the end of the year and a time when lots of people

reflect on the events of the past 12 months. For myself, I'll be

really happy to see 2007 and hope the pace changes. This past year

has been a bear. Really, really rough for an assortment of reasons.

Ever feel like so many things are being dumped on after another to to

the point it is like a drama TV show? Like you get to the point you

just want to pull up a lawn chair on your sidewalk to face your house

with a big bag of popcorn, and with great fascination, wonder what

will happen to these guys next??? My time online has been curbed

considerably and hopefully that has changed now.

On the enzyme front, I see digestive enzymes popping up more and

more. This is really great seeing as how there was little out there

at all more than five years ago when this group began. And this

group's effort has had a lot to do with that change in attitude

and 'press.'

There is new magazine available on newstands...it is a quarterly

magazine started by Alternative Magazine. In this issue, I have an

article: Enzyme Therapy for Autism:

http://www.naturalsolutionsmag.com/ns/

Please write the editors and thank them for running an article on

enzymes! It started as more of a 'side-bar' piece but after

submitting the first draft, they expanded it out.

Another article of significance on enzymes is the current feature

article in Developing Healthy Habits newsletter available at natural

food stores (by me): Enzymes, Celiac, and Gluten Intolerance. It

deals with what goes on in the gut concerning the different types of

gluten intolerance and how enzymes may impact each type.

With the growing interest in using enzyme products like GlutenEase,

Peptizyde, Peptidase Complete, and other enzymes for gluten, good

education in this area is important. And much of what is known and in

action has been developed from the beginnings of this group right

here.

There is also a growing interest in the therapeutic use of enzymes

among health practitioners, both alternative and traditional (and big

hurrah!!!). I am getting contacted fairly regularly from that area

which is really great because most of us could really go for

specialists knowing how to incorporate enzymes into a total health

program!

Happy New Year.
