Hi ,

I find this observation very interesting, being that my husband's aunt had to

have surgery for trigeminal neuralgia (I think that was the condition). It was

excruciating before she had the surgery. Our daughter hated the wind in her face

and ears when she got out of the car at her preschool, which was at a relatively

high elevation for our area, and has unusual sensitivities in other areas as

well, especially regarding pain and light. I will have to keep an eye on this as

she grows and see if it looks like something we'll need to follow up on.

our kids modulate pain very well. They are either hypo or hyper sensitive.

I suspect that the Trigeminal nerve to the face is particularly

dys-regulated - almost like in fibromyalgia. My son can have excruciating

facial pain if his face gets exposed to cold winter winds. NM
