Guest guest
Hi Melinda, Anti-virals cause big-time yeast for my daughter. I did the high dose Vit A, OLE, Sambucol and monolaurin heavy for a couple weeks and we ended up with some nasty stuff...I called it the yeast beast. Anyway...the yeast caused some major constipation as well for my dd. Probiotics helped, GSE worked good and Uva Ursi worked great. Plus the Nystatin. My daughter stays on Nystatin and the day after she runs out she's yeasty. When chelation rounds approach I load up with the natural stuff too. As far as magnesium goes...I give Kirkman's magnesium glycinate 100 mg capsules. I've given as much as 600 mg in a day before I saw loose stools. And Vitamin C...my DAN! said Beyond C by Longevity is the best you can get in her opinion. It's expensive but it's supposed to be good buffered pharmaceutical grade Vit C. I too don't know the meaning of slow go...I want everything done NOW! :) You're not alone. Hope this is helpful. Guest guest
> Recently I thought we were dealing with constipation from viral-die > off and decreasing mag chlor and adding in biotin. Biotin needs magnesium for absorption, so if you give biotin without magnesium, it can cause constipation. Try adding magnesium, rather than decreasing it. > juice last night. I would definitely increase magnesium. > What kind of magnesium helps best with constipation? Usually citrate, altho other forms can also work. I use amino acid chelate, malate, citrate. > We are using liquid Magnesium Chloride drops. 15 drops = 12 mg of > calcium, 85 mg of magnesium, If you give magnesium with calcium, most of the magnesium will be used by the calcium for proper absorption. Try giving just magnesium, and at least two hours [preferably more] apart from calcium. >>How do I know if vitamin c is buffered? It will usually indicate it on the label.
