I wasn't able to get my child to take the capsule form of Olive Leaf

extract, but I did find some in liquid form at the heath food store. I just

administer a dropper full toward the back of her mouth and follow it with

juice or something she enjoys. She still doesn't like it, but it is

acceptable in liquid form. :-)

Subject: treating yeast / candida ??

My son (4 yrs old, autism) has had yeast overgrowth / candida (is that the

same thing?) for a long time - probably since birth. I've put him on

childrens acidophlus (chewable tabs) from Houston plus give him FOS. He

also gets enzymes with every meal (Zyme Prime). I have not gone GFCF - just

enzymes.

It seems we need to activley kill the yeast though. I've heard of Oive leaf

for this. My problem is how to get it into the boy! Have bought some

capsules with the thought of opening them up and mixing into his milk or

juice but they taste foul. And he won't swallow a capsule, I'm sure.

So I really need a tasty chewable tablet version or hidden in a candy or

something. Any ideas? Know of any products?

is there another way to actively kill yeast besides olive leaf?

Am I on the right track??

Thanks in advance, folks!
