Guest guest
Mattie will be getting the new band soon. I am wondering if I should buy a few new shirts that are easier to put on over the band, or should I just deal with taking the band on and off. : I didn't have any trouble with any of the clothes that Hanna already had. Avoid tight necks, but most shirts have snaps, so I don't think you'll have too much trouble! The band really isn't as bulky as it seems. Guest guest
, Once you get the band, you'll get used to getting it on and off. Most of the time I have to take it off to get something over 's head, but now that I'm used to it it's a pretty quick process. You'll get used to it - assuming, of course, that Mattie doesn't fight you over getting it on and off! Guest guest
Oh Amy we have all had this same question once you get the hang of it slipping the band off to put clothes on becomes a snap button up clothes work great as well as shirts that you can really stretch the neck out with when putting it on over the helmet. If you have my children they go through 4 outfits a day so taking the band off a million times to change them was no fun but snap and button clothes can be found and used as well. beck
Guest guest
Amy:Button or snap down clothes, or even with snap shoulders do work best while baby is wearing the band. But it is very easy to take the band off and put back on if necessary. Doesn't take but a quick minute. Also with summer coming, simple tank tops, or one piece romper onesie type outfits that go on feet first would work great! Guest guest
Hi Amy, I didn't buy any special clothing for my daughter. I just took the band off to dress her and then on again. I know some ppl say it is easier to just buy the button down shirts. Good Luck, let us know when you get the band. Dustie > My daughter is getting her casting done next week. Guest guest
Amy - We have been taking the band off for five minutes in the morning when we get our son dressed, as most of his clothes go over his head - and the band is just too big - it stretches all the neck holes out too much! Once you get the hang of it, the band comes on and off pretty quick! Debbie ( C's mom – DOCbanded 4-29-03) > My daughter is getting her casting done next week. Guest guest
I mostly used button down or snaps. It was quicker that way. The band wasn't hard to take off or on. It just seemed easier for me personally with 3 kids. Angie clothes My daughter is getting her casting done next week. Once we have the band, will it be hard to put clothes on over her head? Guest guest
Amy: I am so glad you asked this! I was just thinking the same thing. I am anxious to read the other posts. My ortho said to get button clothes as they are easier and you don't want to take the helmet on and off a lot. Kim mom to Kurt...
