Guest guest Posted July 13, 2005 Report Share Posted July 13, 2005 My 4 yr old, , took 30 antibiotics (either oral, eye or ear) by the time he was 2, maybe younger. We started a new probiotic 2 weeks ago from Kirkman (Pro Bio Gold). Since then, he seems " itchy " and I'm wondering if it could have something to do with the yeast I'm assuming he has. His anus is always itchy as are his genitals. But now it seems to be all over itching. As a baby he had tons of yeast infections on his butt, but hasn't had one in a long time. Is it possible that the interaction of this new, stronger probiotic is doing something to the yeast to make him itchy? I don't see any rashes or raised areas where he is itchy and we put lotion on after bathtime. Any suggestions are appreciated! jodey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
