Hi,

I started my 4 1/2 year old son on broad spectrum enzymes 10 days ago

(he has no

dietary restrictions at this point). Yesterday when I went to pick

him and his sister up

from daycare, he was taking a nap--he had been nodding off at the

snack table, so

they put him to bed. Today, I was called in to pick him up from

summer school. The

nurse said he felt a bit warm to the touch and the teachers said he

just wasn't

himself--seemed very tired/draggy. They also mentioned that he was

asking for

LOTS of water, but not necessarily peeing more than usual (although

he peed a good

bit before we left the school). He actually seemed pretty perky when

I got to the

school, and I started to take him to his afternoon camp because he

said he wanted to

go to there more than home, but then was quickly up and down in terms

of mood/

ability to cope, so I brought him home and he's napping now.

Just wondering if this fatigue/irritability/quick up and down might

be an effect of the

enzymes: die-off from yeast or bacteria, withrawal effects from

addictive food

compounds? Should I back off of his dose? Here's what I've done so

far:

1/2 capsule (more or less) at major meals (Enzymedica Digest)--3 days

then worked up to 1/2 cap at major meals + 1/2 at larger snacks --

days 4-7

then switched to HNI Prime Zyme chewables: 2 tablets w/major meals

and one larger

snack-- days 8-10, plus 2 w/breakfast this morning and 2 w/snack at

school

Any impressions and advice are appreciated.
