Um, actually yes, , I have heard of regressions, seizures,

etc, caused by homeopathy done poorly, or too aggressively. This

from first-hand parent reports. I am still trying to understand this

myself. I have to say that I have been puzzled when I've read

assertions that homeopathy is always safe, since like you I would

think that it must be because it is not doing anything. From

personal results and other credible sources, I have to conclude that

it does do something, and must be used with respect.

There has been an intelligent, ongoing thread about this on the

homeopathy for special needs children group:

Homeopathy-SNC/?yguid=198943229

and I recently found a very good article on this by Little, a

respected homeopath, called " Can Homeopathy be Dangerous? "

http://www.tiny.cc/oo0ch which helped me sort this out a bit.

Perhaps some of the confusion is because it appears that in at least

some circumstances, very alarming reactions to homeopathic remedies

(grand mal seizures, panic trips to the ER) are resolved with the

child bearing no trace of the crisis and actually making significant

gains afterwards. Even Andy seems to tacitly acknowledge

the " healing crisis " that can happen in homeopathy here

http://onibasu.com/archives/am/68134.html (though if I've

misunderstood this post I hope he sees this and corrects me).

Happy New Year, !

Rene

Anyone ever hear of regression with homeopathy? That's part of the

reason I have such a hard time believing it actually does anything,

never hear anything bad.
