Yes definitely. This didn't really resolve but it's not significant

enough to be a serious problem.

When viruses " die off " , the process tends to increase yeast. Not sure

why, but it does. So it is not causing yeast die off, but actually an

INCREASE of yeast.

Might have been viral " die off " , might have been yeast overgrowth

[viral " die off " tends to cause yeast overgrowth].

But

It might take a while for the virus/es to reduce. Or, you might want

to add a lower dose of OLE to help eliminate the viruses.

Increase your yeast protocol.

I've been going up by just one a day. I usually hold at a

particular dose for 3 days if I'm not seeing any symptoms. If he

does show fever, rash, ect I hold at that dose untill the symptoms

have worked out. I wanted to do the VS real slow because my son is

in school and I didn't want him missing too much do to side

effects. I think how fast you go up is really going to be

individual.

To start with, yes.

Wait a few days, then give him one capsule am and one capsule mid to

late afternoon.

go up 1 or 2 capsules?

Generally, add in 1 or 2 capsule a days however it is comfortable for

you or convenient. In the trials done, I suggested 2 capsules a day

until you started to see a change (positive or negative), and then

consider 1 capsule if there were negative adjustments. Just like Low-n-

Slow dosing method, this would minimize uncomfortable adjustments. Some

people saw improvement (or adustments) from the very beginning of

ViraStop, while many others saw NO change at all until they got to

around 12 capsules a day...at that level, there was an abrupt change.

We began giving virastop, only 1/4 cap once a day to start two days

ago. My son has a tiny rash on his cheek now. Any connection? We did

see these same type of tiny skin rashes when we tried to use OLE last

week for a stubborn cold virus. We did have to stop that though

because his behavior was terrible. How long should he be on virastop,

or can you use this only when getting sick, since we are not

addressing viruses head on. Just trying to get him well when his

system can't seem to do it.

(we are on cold number three in a month).

thanks for any insight on how to use this supplement and what to

expect.

Maggie,

My son is now on 7 virastops 3x's daily and as we would go up I

noticed red spots and he would even get a low fever. Now I give him

candidase with the virastop. I obviously did what you are doing low

and slow. His nose also runs and I also have seen crazy behaviors and

stims. I do notice as soon as the symptoms subside so does the rash

and behaviors and he is gaining more in his development. I believe it

is a die off and that these are great signs. I used to not see much

prior to starting these enzymes (i would see things from time to

time) and now I get so excited when I see him go through these.

Something is coming out. You might what to look into the candidase

(enzymedica) and do a combo. I think so far all signs are great for

your son. As you increase you will start to see him really change.

Hope this helps.

Be sure to take the lysine at least 2 hours apart from the OLE.

At my house, I kept the dose until it did not appear to be helping,

then I increased it. At one point, increasing the dose did not appear

to have any effect, so I stayed at the lower dose.

> What dosage of OLE do I want to work up to? Same question for lysine?

The most OLE I gave was 3000mg 3x per day. Lysine was the same dose,

interetingly. Lysine caused a LOT of yeast as it was eliminating

viruses, so watch for that.

I used OLE for my kids for about 2 years, lysine for about 6-8 months.

I would say as long as you are having symptoms like sore throat or other 'viral

kill' signs,

such as drowsiness, viral rash spots, or flu-like symptoms, keep increasing the

dose.

Some of the participants in past studies went to 30 capsules a day for three

weeks. When

you increase the dose a few capsules and then do not see any more improvements

over

than what you have AND have no viral kill symptoms, consider this your Holding

Point and

stay there for three weeks before reducing the dose.

I know this is a little loosey-goosey, but it is far better than what was

previously available.

As the enzymes-viral pilot studies continue, we can get better and more refined

guidelines. Also, all the information contributed in the group is equally

valuable.

I am interested to see what difference you feel the SerraGold is making? Did you

notice it

helping the ViraStop or not? Actually, it would make a lot of sense if the

SerraGold was

helping because it tends to increase circulation.

I work with a fellow that was having a noticeable reaction to 1 capsule of

ViraStop. He got

very drowsy with just 1 capsule. After several attempt with ViraStop and getting

a strong

response, he tried some of the SerraGold and really thought it helped with

energy, sleep,

and all around mood. I wonder if having a strong viral load means you would

respond well

to the SerraGold, and the SerraGold may faciliate the ViraStop in viral control.

The main enzyme in SerraGold is serratiopeptidase. There is a little of this

enzyme in

ViraStop but only 1/4 the amount as in SerraGold.

> What dosage of OLE do I want to work up to? Same question for lysine?

> How long do I use these?

I don't know any ranges on these two. It would be good if members of the group

having

use either of these would post their recommendations.
