Guest guest
This is really off the plagio track, but I was just stressing. I was feeling so relieved that all should be calm with Sam now and agreed to substitute at school when #4 son Mac comes down with Chicken pox. He even got the shot for this. I called the dr. this morning and they said yes he can still get it, just not as bad. Whey did I pay so much for the shot then? Sorry, I know this is really no big thing, it's just another day in the life.... and Sam and Mac and Luke and and and......:0)
Guest guest
: 5 boys!!! WOW!! Can I ask their ages?? I have 4 little ones (girls ages 5 and 2 1/2 and twin boys that are 17 months) and I cannot believe how instinctively different the boys are. It is amazing!! Hang in there, and unfortunately brace yourself for the Chicken pox sweep through your house. Hope you can find some help to keep your sanity!! Guest guest
Their ages are: 12,11 (these two are only 10 1/5 months apart) 7,3,and 9 months today. The only one who might get them is Sam the others had them about 4 years ago. I really do like boys though. I am lucky because they are really a big help and they are pretty protective of Mom. :0) > : > 5 boys!!! WOW!! Can I ask their ages?? Guest guest
Hi, can I ask you which was " hardest " ? the ones that were 10 months apart, or having twins? I am curious, having only twins -boys- myself.. : ) thanks, diane K wrote: > Their ages are: 12,11 (these two are only 10 1/5 months apart) > 7,3,and 9 months today. > > The only one who might get them is Sam the others had them about 4 > years ago. > > I really do like boys though. Guest guest
Diane, Because my two oldest are the ones that are 10 1/2 apart, I didn't know any better I thought everyone held one to feed while feeding another in a high chair. LOL I can't imagine have twins for the youngest, you are very brave. :0) The older ones really do help with the younger ones. I don't know many 11 and 12 year old boys that can change diapers.(unless they are poopy..:0) They are very close, we have really had to encourage them to play with others. Because of their birthdays they could have been in the same grade. We chose to keep them apart because we wanted to give our 2nd a chance to be his won person because he was younger. To this day, it is something he has to deal with. He is younger, but they have alot of the same friends and does everything first. We have tried very hard to make realize his own interests and hobbies. They both love music, one plays drums the other Sax....etc.. I can't imagine have 4 kids 5 and under. God bless you.:0) > > > : > > > 5 boys!!! WOW!! Can I ask their ages?? Guest guest
: I hope that Mac has a mild case.... I have heard of those getting the shot still getting pox, but much much milder -- and we ended up vaccinating Quinn because I had read in areas where there is a lot of vaccination (which our area is), if you don't vaccinate, there might not be exposure to it, and to get it later in life without the vaccination can lead to complications.... guess it's 6 of one, 1/2 dozen on the other.... aveno anyone? Take Care. Guest guest
Diane: We have both scenarios...My oldest girl is 5, second girl is almost 2 1/2 and the twin boys are 17 months old. The boys were born 2 weeks before my daughter turned 1 (they were 2 1/2 months early!). Needless to say they were a surprise in many ways!! There is always something going on with ones that little...right now it is keeping the boys from slapping and biting (each other, their sisters, etc). We have definite rules about everything, but there is only so much you can say to them. Most of the time it is constant close supervision and separation of the angry parties!!. They are really good kids, and healthy. That is most important. My pregnancy with the twins was horrific - it is truly a miracle that they are alive and healthy. When the day gets tough, I just need to remember a picture from their NICU stay and thank God that I have them. Literally. Guest guest
-- Just when you think that the shot really does work, they come down with it!! My oldest, , got chickenpox last March (when I was pregnant with Chandler) but only had about 8 spots--none on her face or arms--no where noticable with her clothes on. She had had the shot, so evidently, the shot makes a case much less severe. Of course, I had to keep her out of daycare--and of course at the time she broke out, no one else in her class had had them. . .but as it turned out, several kids in her class came down with it within 24 hours of each other. I figured that someone in her class may have had them and not even known--as they all only had a few spots. I was just glad that she had them before I had Chandler!! :-) It sounds like your older boys are wonderful to help out!! Hang in there! Guest guest
... You are an amazing woman/mother. Keep up the good work and don't give up. Remember we are all in this great work together and you can make it. Just take it minute by minute. I am sure you are doing a much better job than you feel like it. Take a five minute alone time break (of course in the bathroom with the door shut!!! at least that is my only place to go and be alone) and
Guest guest
Is there any other place that you can go. Sometimes I think I would like my mail sent there :0) Thanks for letting me vent. PS I am doing much better today. Dad is feeling better, Luke is too (maybe a 24 hr flu) Mac's Chicken pox are really mild I guess thanks to the shot, I'm not sure Sam even has them...yet:0) I actually sat down and read for about 1/2 hour today.
